How to Delete Your Account
1. In-App Deletion (Fastest Method)
Sign in to the BiteBallot app on your mobile device.
Go to your profile settings by navigating to Settings > Edit Account.
Follow the instructions at the bottom of that page to complete the deletion of your account.
Once your in-app request is submitted, the account deletion will occur. Any data that had previously been associated with the account will be deleted and will not be recoverable. Please ensure that you want the delete to occur and understand what will be lost when moving ahead with the account deletion.
2. Request Deletion Using This Page
If you cannot access your account in the app or prefer not to use the in-app method, please fill out the form below with the required details:
Account Username (if known)
Name (if provided on the account)
Phone Number (if provided on the account)
Email Address (required)
We use this information to locate and confirm the correct account. For security, we may send a confirmation message to the email address on file to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the account. If the email address you provide does not match our records, we may be unable to complete the request.
Once your ownership is confirmed, we will delete your account and associated data. If additional information is needed or we can’t verify your request, we will reach out using the contact details you provide.
What Data Is Deleted
When you request an account deletion, we remove:
Personal Information: Name, email address, profile details, and any other personal data you’ve provided in your BiteBallot profile.
App Data: Any preferences, settings, or customizations you made within the app.
What Data May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, we may be required to keep specific data for a limited time to:
Comply with legal obligations (e.g., records of financial transactions, if any).
Protect the security of our users and systems (e.g., records of fraudulent activity).
Enforce our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or resolve disputes.
We retain only the data necessary for these purposes, and we securely delete it once legal or administrative obligations end.
